Hansan Ramie Culture Festival

As Korea's representative eco-friendly traditional textile festival, it is a cultural tourism festival held to widely publicize the excellence of 'Hansan Ramie Weaving', which has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

As a resident-led festival, residents directly participate in the pre-festival preparation process, from planning to organizing the venue.

It is held every year in the second week of June at the Hansan Ramie Hall in Hansan-myeon, Seocheon, where you can directly experience and enjoy various UNESCO intangible cultural heritages such as Hansan Ramie School, mini loom weaving, and Jeosan Pal-eup Gilssamnori.
